Prayers Like Magic

Your prayers to court are, in a way, akin to incantations.

Consider the following:

  1. Prayers are purposefully-designed.

  2. They must be cast (drafted) a specific way, and by the right grimoire of spells (your statutes and rules of court).

  3. Succeed, and a specific relief is bestowed, to 'cure' a man of his legal ailments.

  4. Fail, and nothing happens. (Or that which should not magically be summoned, is.)
