Proper Denials and Bare Denials

Denials in two kinds.
  1. Proper denials meet allegations head-on, and often cite counter-evidence.

  2. Proper denials mitigate doubt -- they show how the allegations are weak.

  3. Bare denials only say "no", or can be summed up as just a "no".
