Cultists of Science

Keep not to discovered untruths - cast them into fire.

... Whatever I write, as soon as I discover it not to be true, my hand shall be the forwardest to throw it into the fire.

- John Locke

Science demands scientific methods and empiricism.

True science does not and should never ascribe to dogma or personal feelings.

Thus those who proclaim 'science', but who refuse to cast away untruths later discovered/proven, and would not even consider scientific possibilities other than theirs - are not practitioners of science. They are cultists, who desire the authority of science, not its sincerity.

Mind the difference always. Faith makes not science.
